Dr. Jonathan Kiliko /Strategic Plan Specialist

Dr Jonathan Kiliko has a wealth of knowledge in strategic management, with hands-on proven experience and strong leadership in corporate governance, strategic plan formulation/development, sustainable operational financing and marketing/customer services, organisational investment and business development, monitoring and evaluation of projects, among other areas of competence. He has an overall objective of transferring expertise and professional talents to successful teams through skilful facilitation, mentorship and coaching that enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness. Jonathan has more than 30 years’ experience in senior leadership and strategic plan development since 1993. He has ability to freely network and engage various stakeholders is a key attribute that has enabled him to build and sustain resilient business systems and brand for Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS). During his tenure as Head of Marketing & Strategy Division, Jonathan was able to sign memorandum of understanding (MOUs) and contracting framework with 43 Governors, representing their respective County Governments. Jonathan brings forth knowledge of the health sector in Kenya, extensive experience in evaluating and developing strategic plans, with more than 30 strategic planning consultancies and a lead consultant. He has good listening, documentation and analytical skills and hands-on experience on effective ways of strengthening service delivery. Jonathan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Administration, specializing in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance. His Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) specialised in Strategic Management and Change Management. Jonathan has a Bachelor’s degree in Education with Economics and Business Administration as teaching subjects. He is an alumni of Strathmore Business School post-graduate programmes of Leading High-performing Health organization (LeHHO) and higher diploma in Advanced Health Management. He is a full member of the Kenya Institute of Management (MKIM). He has a passionate in whatever he does and he is God-fearing, humble and a man of integrity with high professional and ethical standards.
